Inventory Management

To better service our customers and their unique business processes, Johnson & Berry accommodates a variety of ordering systems. We accept blanket orders and can support demand pull systems (Kanban/JIT) to ensure your requirements are met by utilizing our efficient manufacturing capabilities and stocking of parts.  Johnson & Berry will work with you to define an ordering arrangement that is mutually beneficial.

In terms of material acquisition and availability, we use multiple vendors and suppliers to make sure we can adhere to tight deadlines. We also manage a significant inventory of round stock, tubular steel, and flat bar.

Delivery

We maintain an excellent on-time delivery record with our customers. Standard overnight delivery via third party freight providers is available throughout the Midwest. Additionally, we have our own fleet of trucks to make sure you get fast, on-time delivery of your product where you need it and without damage.

Providing a “Keep Full” Delivery System for Somero

Somero has been working with Johnson & Berry for over 10 years. During these years they have produced a variety of high quality parts. Their on time delivery helps to ensure our production and customer service orders are fulfilled each day.

An instance where Johnson & Berry helped us out was in their delivery method. Often we get orders that require immediate turn around on product, giving suppliers very little lead time to manufacture. Johnson & Berry worked with Somero to develop a “keep full” delivery system. We wanted to have at least one machine worth of components on the floor at all times so we could start production on demand. Somero provides reports to Johnson & Berry twice a week to assure product is readily available.
